Thank you for your interest in the All State process. Below you will find some information that will help you better understand what this process entails. Please let me know how I can help as we move through the fall.
The Texas All State process is one of the most competitive audition processes. You as a student are asked to learn entire pieces of music and then go through four different rounds of auditions. Each round of audition will consist of singing small portions of the pieces that have been learned for that round. A select number of students will make it through to each round, and in the end there are three Texas All State Ensembles (Mixed Choir, Treble Choir, and Tenor/Bass Choir). Making one of these prestigious ensembles is not only an amazing personal achievement, but it is also a great way to add interest to you college resume.

- Outside of growing as a singer (no matter how far in the competition you advance), the possibility to learn from the best choir conductors in the country (and even the world), as well as singing with the best singers in the state, are just a few of the perks. Colleges and universities seek out Texas All State students for their choral programs and often offer scholarships for both music and non-music major students willing to join their choirs.
